“Joanne gives house keys to her guests so they may come and go as they wish. The communal guest area (fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room) is downstairs with direct access to her divine back yard. It is completely private with a variety of places to sit and listen to burbling water fountains. Joanne calls it her zen garden and it was, indeed, very relaxing!” ~ Sue
“Lots of helpful extras (robes, slippers, toiletries, hairdryer etc) and the communal guest area consisting of lounge, dining area and well-equipped kitchen, meant we could cook ourselves a meal in the evening as an alternative to dining out. UBC Room
“The UBC room was quiet, convenient. We stayed here for 6 nights and wished we could have stayed longer.” ~ Matthew

Kitsilano Room
“The Kitsilano bedroom has a separate bathroom, which is down the hall. It is not a shared bathroom. Other rooms have the bathrooms en suite. We stayed three nights at House on Dunbar, and we had an absolutely wonderful time! We were very pleased with the comfortable room, the spotless bathroom, and the extra amenities that were provided, such as complimentary snacks and sodas, robes and slippers, and bath products in the shower.” ~ Matthew.
